It was a real head scratcher of a game, they seemed to be physical at times, soft at others. They really need to play a consistant 60 minutes of physical hockey. If they did that they might not have won but they would have avoided the man handeling they recived today, it was one of those "men vs boys" gmaes tonight and we weren't the men. Losing is never good but getting dominated in your own building is never excusable, even if it is the Bears.
The troubling part to me was the lack of cohesion between the defense and the forwards. The forwards really need to help out the guys on the back end. Tonight against a pressing talented team like Hershey your in for trouble if you don't take care of the defensive end first. To often tonight the defensman were hung out to dry when they had no outlets. The forwards seem to be just standing around in the neutral zone, no movement making Hershey's life too easy. The quick decision making was just not their for the entire team tonight, Hershey was all over every pass in the offensive and neutral zone. i don't know if this is a player or a system problem.
And It has become apparent that Mr. Clark needs to sit, probably means playing Paetsch at defense but Clark has been useless the last five games. By the way does anyone know what happened to Brett Festerling, I didn't see him in the third? On the bright side Maroon and Green looked pretty good together. I just like to add: scratching Mirasty for Kennedy, really? Does Kenndey offer anything that Mirasty dosen't?
